This WebSite is here for you to get a chance to get to know me.
It takes a while to see all that I have here. I have worked on this site since Oct. 2001.

Here's a little history about me: In 1964 I was born in Oneonta New York, USA to my Mom and Dad, Edwin
and Lestina De Long. I since grew up in a little village called "Morris" until I joined the U.S. Marine Corps
in 1982. In the Marine Corps. Band, I traveled the west coast of the North American continent playing
concerts and  ceremonies for people, ranging from civilians, generals, & former presidents to the prime
minister of Kuwait (just before the gulf war). I got out of the service in 1985 and began pursuing a wide
range of interests and careers in the upstate New York area. I have amassed many friends and gained
great popularity through my constant public performances and other employments. I have worked many
diverse types of jobs through the years. For a long time, I worked the in food service industry.
Many area restaurants have given me a lot of training and expertise in cooking and serving people meals.
I started in a high class restaurant in Sherburne called "the Bullthistle Inn" learning the trade.
Then it was off to Georgetown to cook and be a waiter at "the Georgetown Inn".
I then moved to Morrisville after that and found myself a cook at the "Sautter's Morrisville Diner" for 3 years.
I was there every morning at 5:15 to open the place and start serving coffee to sleepy people.
After that,  I found myself downtown running my cousin's pizza place.
During all this, I created a home computer help and repair business which kept me very busy.
Many of my old friends  have continued chillin' with me, and helped me get by through the tough times.
The friends I met as the "Maintenance Guy" on Campus Hill were a great inspiration to me.
Since they are primarily college students, they offered me a lot of young love and support.
Now I find myself in early retirement in Oneida NY, and am looking forward to the quiet life.
The memories of all the chapters of my life will never be forgotten!
