| Easter 2006 |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Easter was
about children this year. I woke up this morning to a usual day; shower,
coffee, pills, etc., and a dose of a loud crowd at the kitchen table. They were all 2 feet away from each other, but they still had to yell (frickin' factory workers, lol). After all that, and a few minutes on the couch chillin' with Stephani, Al, the manager from the Pizzeria, came from Onieda to get me and bring me to his family Easter party. He and his girlfriend Vanessa have a nice flat in the Downtown section of Onieda. That is the city to the North of us, home of the local Native American Casino (Turning Stone). We played LIFE, although it was the Simpsons version, and had a marvelous meal Vanessa prepared with Ham, Potatoes, Green Beans, Biscuits, Gravy, and Cheesecake. After all of that and a bottle or two of wine, we managed to make it back to Morrisville, and I went right in to take a 3 hour nap. The house back home was full of kids when I returned. Melinda and Brenda both had their little ones here. It kinda reminded me of when I was one of the little rug rats waaaaaaay back. We played and played, like they did today. I still managed to sleep very well, now I see why so many family oriented people drink, lol. After my nap, I took Ralph his leftover surprise package to make his holiday a little brighter, and came back here to write this news page. It was a fun holiday for me this year. Normally, I stay home, keeping to myself, and wait for evening visitors after their family days, but this time I managed to get out. It was a nice sunny warm day to make it even better. |

| I Got Candy |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I guess I just needed it, but
about and hour into work the other night, I went across the street and bout 6 candy bars. They were only 3/99c, so I did it up. We had plenty of chocolate that night. We always make a pot of coffee at work, so the chocolate bars went well with a fresh pot of Joe. |

| Steven Killed the
Easter Bunny |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Steven found the Rabbit nest
the other day. He was prowling around the yard, and found it. He brought us home one of the little bunnies, and Steph & Bill Jr. rescued it. They nursed it as best as they could, but it died by the morning. It was sad, but then Steven brought us another one. The kids followed him to the rabbits nest, and promptly punished Steven for his actions. He was just doin' his job, in his eyes. I think they saved the rest of the bunnies from a certain death. Imagine all this on Easter weekend. Steven is the great hunter. |

| the First Weekend |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I got though my first weekend
in Jail. Al picked me up bright and early on Tuesday morning around 8AM, and off we went to Wampsville. After a brief interview, and a shower, I put on my Orange jumpsuit and was lead down to the H Block, which was the same one they put me in last year. It was a different crowd, but the scene was very much the same. They all accepted me well. I was called Cousin It, Hippie, and DW. We played Monopoly one evening. The food has improved. It was nice to look forward to the 3 meals they brought us, and the evening cup of coffee. The Television on the high wall, was our only savior, and a nice window to the outside world. It was actually nice to have a forced time period to relax my mind from the usual stresses and daily routines of general life. I do not like captivity, but I am handling it well. It is good to know that I will be let out in only 2 days. The nurse and the Doctor both had a chance to examine me, and I got the meds I needed. It was a great lesson in patience for me to wait for everything to happen. I took advantage of the outdoor recreation time to stay back and take a shower. I had to laugh when I dropped the soap, lol. Fortunately, everyone was outside. I found myself to be the oldies guy there, so I managed to get a lot of respect. I made it a point to do nothing but relax my mind, and my body, and take advantage of the time to do just that. Now, I got about 19 more weeks of this to get through. Uggh! |

| the Lost and Found Detergent |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I searched and I searched for
the detergent so I could walk my huge bag of laundry down to the laundromat and do it. I actually walked all over town so I could find Young Bill and ask him about it. I finally gave up and borrowed some from Pat, and did my laundry. Later on that evening, Bill Sr, walked in and plopped down the big jug of soap and quietly walked out. He may have found it, or thought it was his, or maybe even went up and got it from upstairs, but either way, I wasn't gonna ask any questions about it. Results is all I needed. Now I am ready for next week. |

| the Playboy |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Mike and Liz were making their
weekly visit to chill with me, and Mike decided to pick up the Playboy that was sitting on the living room table. At that moment, Young Bill came out of his room to hang with us, and Mike asked him: "Bill, did you use this mag to jerk off with?" and, of course, he answered "NO!", and like a perfectly choreographed scene from television, Mike said, "oh yeah?" and literally pealed the next page open with a rip you could have heard a mile away. Bill turned 3 shades of red and went to his room to NOT come out again after that. The "peal" was such a classic moment, we laughed and laughed about it. I will never forget the series of events that day. |

| the Rock Wall |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Gregg and Pat were feelin' the
spring season one morning, and on that sunny day, they cleaned up the yard and built a Rock Wall around the corner of where the old barn used to set. They did a nice job, as it still sits there today. Me and Steph had to get some photos of their great accomplishment the next morning. I am proud of the nice job the boiz did. |

| Keeping the Computer Clean |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This weeks computer tip
stresses the importance of keeping your computer clean. If you don't have an air compressor, a can of compressed air can be bought at the CampusStore for about $7.00. One of my services in my Lemon Desk Computer Repair Business is to completely tear apart your computer and clean ALL the dust and crap out of it. I will also clean the terminals in the PCI cards. It i very important to not let the dust create shorts in the circuitry or the computer will become slow and confused. Sometimes it will even quit. I have noticed improved performance every time I ever cleaned someones rig, including my own. So open you tower one day, when it is off, and get all the cat hair out of it. Your computer will thank you. If you don't want to do the work, just bring it to me with a $20 Bill, or something like it, and I will do it for you. |
