Court Report
Well, the saga is finally over. All I have to do now is my time, and pay my money to the
court. My brother and sister came to meet me at the Fort, and after dinner we went to
the courthouse in Madison. We were the first people there, so they ran us right
through. We already knew what I was up against in the plea bargain, so it was a simple
matter of presenting it all to the judge. He assigned a starting day for my jail time, and
a payment agreement for my fines. I will be serving 40 - 60 days at Wampsville
Correctional Facility starting next week, and I will start sending weekly payments to the
court next week also. The worst part is being on probation for the next 3 years. It is still
better then jail. I am happy now that I have reached a point of "no surprises". The cops
can't come up with anything more involving this case. Now as long as I stay clean, they
can't mess wid me no more. After court, we went back to the Fort, and had a couple
drinks. I needed them. In fact I had a few, then had to take a nap when I got home, lol.
It has been over a year since they busted into my home, and set my life back, over
partying.

the New Processor
I managed to upgrade the processor in my main computer yesterday. Tait brought me
some parts, and I traded some parts, and managed to get a nice Pentium 3 to replace
my Celeron with. Celerons, are Intel's more cost efficient line of chips. Pentium is there
top of the line model. The Pentium I got still reads 700mHz, but it waaaay out performs
the Celeron that was in it. We all can see a remarkable difference in the computers'
performance. My web builder programs really needed a better processor. A Pentium 4
would be the best, but this is a definate improvement fer sure.

Spring Has Sprung
Ahhh yes, the warmer air is finally hitting us. We had a few days of warmth as a low
pressure area came through very slowly. It got back to cfhilly nights with a little snow, but
the sun is coming back out, and the days will be getting better and better as we go. The
official first day of spring has past, and we have even changed the clocks for the summer.
Now the best part of living in New York is about to begin. Bring on the Springtime!

Carl Sagan.com
The new cool website to go to is CarlSagan.com. It is all about space and his awesome
ideas involving space and the future. Pat has done a bunch of studying about the
person, and of space itself.

My WebWork
I am a busy beaver when it comes to my Internet and computer hobbies. They seem to
keep my busy all hours of the night quite often. It doesn't seem to show it cuz the
changes are often subtle, but took forever to accomplish. It takes me an average of 6 -
10 hours to write and post a News page. It might take me all night just to get a page
lined up right or a new Navigation bar concept in place. I have Blogs, Journals, Profiles
that are forever needing updating, and a number of ongoing website projects that keep
my busy. Some come and go. The BitchesClub was a great social concept that kept the
whole world watching for a while. The old Blue website on Geocities was my favorite. I
spent a lot of time posting photos of friends there before Myspace.com was invented. I
met some people there whom I still write to from all over the world. I am getting better
and better at journalism, and creating websites. If you are wondering why I am never on
the Instant Messenger through all of this. I only found that it was completely slowing
down my efforts and concentration on my work at hand. I really hope to go someplace
with my hobby. It has already taken me all over the place. Maybe someday it will all
make me a successful person.

Pat Discovers MySpace
In his recent adventure to our house, Pat has managed to spend a lot of time on my
experimental computer. Last month, Brandon brought me an old computer to work on
for myself, and I managed to beef it right up with all the old spare parts I got. I managed
to put 400MB's of RAM into it, and I doubled the processor speed. I am gonna
experiment with some new processors in it soon. In the meantime, with the help of
Windows 98, many people have been testing it for me. It is running like a dream, and
has given some people a chance to spend a lot of time on it and do a lot of work. Pat is
one of those people. He has spent about 2 weeks straight on the machine
experimenting with all kinds of looks and images for his
MySpace profile. After a little
coaching, and some copy-paste instruction, he managed to come up with some really
neat looks for his web presence. He also posted some really deep stuff in his Blog,
which is already getting international attention. Pat has a lot to say to the world, so
check it out.

the New Picnic Tables
Matt is forever improving the business for us. He brought us some brandy new picnic
tables to have in front of the store. The students are already using them as a home
base for their walks downtown. We are hoping they will increase our late night business
as well. We found that a lot of the students are going to the other pizza place because
they have tables, and we only have one. Now we got some nice tables, hopefully they
will be used. Come down and help continue the tradition of signing you name in the
table, like they all have done for years at the other Pizza Pubs.         ----

the Right Video Card
This weeks computer tip is choosing the right video card for your computer rig. In my
time, I have managed to experiment and install any number of video cards into many
computers. I have learned the ins and outs of a few of the different brands also, not to
mention a few opinions along the way. The worst brand to get, in my opinion, is N
-Videa.
I have found more glitches and problems with those cards then any other brand. The
only good way to handle those cards is to reformat the computer with the card in it, and
then it might still not work. They also need a hefty power supply that most computers just
don't have. The brand I recommend is ATI. Even the first ones back in the 90's always
had almost perfect colors and focus. I have a 16MB'er that kicks ASS. The newest 256's
are completely dreamy. So if you are gonna get a new vid card, get ATI.
This is me about 3 years ago with a dream of a news page....... the new ATI card
