Yes, it's Billy. He
has been out of the scene for a few years now but we managed to make
amends and are chillin' together once in a while again. Billy and I were
friends before I moved
to Morrisville and had many good times. He was
there for some of my days in the band, and
helped me get through the
tough times when I lived up on the mountain where he is from. He
breaks
away from his horse farm for a night when he can. Usually he has some item to
sell at
the pawn shop or just needs to get away for a day. Either way,
I am happy to see him again
and he is happy to be a part of our little
Morrisville Culture.
My roommate
Kyran was chillin' at the Lemon Desk one
night while we were watching some movie
and decided to create his own
part of the graffiti that litters my desktop. It has been an on-going
tradition to sign my desk for quite some time now. He did a very good
representation of some
"Grateful Dead" symbols and really added to the
writings. Here are the pix I took to forever
capture the pureness of
the original drawings.
The computer shop has been very busy lately. I now
have two rigs for sale, and others to come
soon. They are going fast so
give me a call if ya need a "new" tower. I took some time for
create
some fliers and cards to post around town. The computer business has really
helped
take the "bite" out of life.
Amanda has found her way into a new life
for herself. She and her Fiancé Ed have
settled in the Utica/Rome area
and have a little newborn named Tarah. She looks just
like Amanda and
keeps Momma very busy. Poor Amanda never seems to sleep
anymore cuz her
little one, and her life is very demanding. I managed to squeeze in a
long phone call to her today and we did and hours worth of catching up. She
is tired,
but very happy with her new life, and I am very proud of her
in her accomplishments.
Amanda is also working a new job at a cool
doughnut shop to help make ends meet.
Keep up the good work Amanda!
The new menu sign
from Pepsi is finally here. It took them almost
2 years to get one to us. We
spent about a week getting all the letters
onto it. At last it was done and we got it up on the wall. I
added the
website addy and said "There, I HELPED!" lol.
Spring Break was
very welcome this year. I got in as much relaxation as I could, and even go to
bed at a decent hour the whole week. I am now very poor because of it,
but we are busy again
and back in track. Robert and Fred managed to
have some time to relax as well, so we all got
together almost every
day to drink coffee and hang out. Campus
Hill keeps them busy
during the
school year. Fred was so tired and stressed he about keeled
over with a heart attack! He is
doing well now, but has learned to take
it easier this semester. Doug Managed to Fire the New
manager of the
Hill already, so Fred will have an easier
time when they get a new one in place.
The weather has been off and on
this month. One day it is 60F and the next night it is snowing a
foot.
Soon the Real spring weather will break through and we will be able to enjoy
life again.
MagicJack.com - This says it all. I ordered the
Magic Jack and had it in 3 days. They give you 30
days to try it out,
then the charge you $45 for the initial fee, and $20 a year after that. It is a
great deal for unlimited calling in the North American Continent! It
works really well and gives me
a great Internet phone service with many
features for a wonderful price. You can leave me a
voice mail if I
don't answer, and I can use the computer mic and speakers to talk if I wanted
to. I
am very happy with the new Magic Jack. If you have a broadband
connection give it a try, you
may even save minutes on your celly. Call
me if ya wanna sometime, the new Number is
631-865-3822. Don't call
'til after 2PM plz!!!! :-) Robert has one as well and loves it. He is
using it
primarily as an computer phone and sometimes gets calls from
two people at once because he
already has a Time Warner Phone as well.
All these phones and almost nothin' to talk about
gheesh, lol.
It was my night off
and I had some friends over, so I ordered a pizza on my Tab. The crew thought it
would be cool to personalize my pie, so they put most of the pepperoni
under the cheese and
created a really kool peace sign across the top of
it. I was very pleased with my awesome Hippie
Pizza and it mad the day
complete for me and my friends. YAY Pizza!
I went to the
hospital for my annual check up last month. All seemed to go well for me. I
passed all my
tests, got my prescripts, had a cup or two of coffee at
the cafeteria in between, and off I went. Kyran
drove me up in his
awesome van. It was a good ride for us, I think we even brought our friend Nate
with us for the ride. Now I hope I make it to my next year's
appointment as healthy as I was this year.
