Take a look at your
$10 bills, because they might not be real. If you are from our area you
might run into the phoney $10 bills that have been going around town.
Someone thinks that
they are smarter then all of us and is printing
bills on their computer printer. They are easy to
spot because the
Black print is blurry, and there is no watermark or safety strip. The gold 10
is also not multi color like it should be. We are reasonably sure that the culprit will be caught
because he made the mistake of ordering delivery food from us a few
times, and has spent
the money at the bar which has camera
surveillance, so in due time there will be no more
counterfeiter. He
has already cost my cousin over $50. That is a drag.
The Chinese food
place is now open! It took me a couple days to get there to eat, but I managed
it. Their food is good, and they are working real hard to keep up with
the demand. Watching them
work in their kitchen gave me a new light on
working in ours. We got it a lot easier, lol. It looks like
they are
doing so well, that they are getting a truck load of food every day. The trucks
come in
from New York City, so it is very authentic. They are also as
they are busy speaking in Chinese
to each other. I hope they stay a
long time in Morrisville. I loooove their food.
It has been 2 years
since I have seen April, and even more since I have seen Nicole. They are
the twin sisters I have known since they were little. Back in the day I
used to party with their
Mom, and when they grew into teens they used
to come by almost every day. It was great that
when I moved to
Morrisville they were old enough to go to college and applied here. We
continued our tradition of hanging out and partying for the entire time
they were in school. Now
they have grown up and are going on into life
and we don't see as much of each other, but it is
another case of being
a great part of the growing up of some young friends of mine. Since I
don't have kids of my own, it really means a lot to me. It was good to see
my girlys again!
I have noticed that
my Internet has been slow, so that prompted me to look into my routers
firmware program to see just who is using our wireless network and what
for. I have noticed
that a couple of the users have been using Bit
Torrent and Limewire to share files. I am not
against file sharing, but
I am against getting the bandwidth hogged up on my network. So I
have
done something about it. So far two users have had their MAC addresses blocked
from
using the network. I hate doing that to people, but I did tell
everyone that the rules of using this
network include NOT using file
sharing clients such as Limewire, so I had to take some action.
Now we
have good Internet for all to enjoy again, sorry to those who have been
blocked.
I have been making
space in my room lately for what will be an influx of more and more stuff of
mine which will be arriving from my storage at my friend Bill's house. We
moved all my stuff
there when I had to abruptly move out of the trailer
I lived in a couple years ago. There are
many memories packed into
those boxes, not to mention some really cool furniture as well. I
am
looking forward to chillin' in my Lazy-Boy chair again ahhhhhh. Soon I will have
piles of stuff
in here to sort out and condense.
It is great to see
the good weather again. The winters in New York State are long and
cold. I will admit I do like the cold weather better then the HOT weather,
but like
anything, it does get old, and the warmer weather will be a
nice break. I will be able to
take those long walks again, and chill
down to the picnic tables in front of the building
again. I got
wireless this year, so I will be able to be on the Internet outside as well. I
went around and took some pics of the Hill to update the Today page on
the
CampusHill site. Good Bye Winter!
My cousin Matt has
finally put ME in charge of the various website involved in our little corner of
the world. I will soon become the webmaster of the pizza shop, the
Corral-bar, the apartments,
and even the various Pizza-Pub's websites.
That will be a lot of work for me, but I am up for the
challenge. The
beauty of using me for the work is that I am right here and can do any updates
that need to be posted right away. I am quite willing to help, due to
the fact that they are my
family and I want to see them prosper, for it
will help me in the end. Soon I will have the new sites
up to be able
to show you.
Ralph Has Left the
Building
|
Ralph has been the
maintenance person on CampusHill for about 4 years now, and a friend to us
all. He hasn't been very happy there for the past year or so, so he finally
decided to move along
to another situation for himself in the old town
we used to live in before moving to Morrisville.
Ralph has always been
my "soul neighbor" since we have always seemed to live near each other
through the years we have known each other. We worked together on the road
in a couple
bands I was in and could get the band set up and tore down
in record time. He was also good for
fixing our ailing vehicles while
we were playing. I had him behind the mixer on a few occasions as
well.
Ralph has always been an asset to our lives, and we will miss him a lot around
here. He did
quite a bit for the Hill in the years he worked there
until the owner, and the previous manager
made him gain an attitude
about the place. He is now situated in the old printing shop where he
once worked in a town about 20 miles south of us called Sherburne. If you
get the sales circular
in the paper for a local store, chances are good
he will have printed it. So if you are ever in
Sherburne feel free to
look him up, his phone is still the same number. Good Luck Ralph!

ANNEX:
The counterfeiter has been caught
and arrested. He tried, again, to enter
the bar and pay the
cover charge with
a phoney $10 bill. He was quickly
arrested.................
