Christmas Break
Merry Christmas Everyone!
Almost everyone has gone home for Christmas break. The hill is about empty, the
college has become a ghost town, and the streets are safe again, lol. However,
business is really slow at the pizza joint. We are closing early, and are all suffering a
cut in our hours. We do have some local business, so I think we will be able to get
through the next 4 or 5 weeks while thay are gone. It will be a quiet break for me too.
It always gives me a chance to regroup my thoughts when the kids go home. I am so
hell bent on partyin' on the Hill, that it does tire me out after a while. The summer is a
great break, cause it is nice out, AND the Hill is usually quiet. Christmas came fast
this year. Last year I moved to Madison at this time. The year really flew by let me tell
ya. It was full of all kinds of major events, lol. The students needed he break too.
College has been really tough on them this semester. I am looking foward to their
return in January.

Flying Garbage Cans
It was a windy night last Monday. The whole village put out it's garbage for the usual
Tuesday morning pick up. When they awoke the next morning, There were garbage
and cans all over the place. The mayor was all mad and told everyone to not do that
anymore. I thought it was funny to see the sight as It was happening. We managed
to get our cans back.

Jonzey's gets Busted
The cops have been hitting the college students rough this year. They even
busted into Jonzeys one night. he was having his usual few friends over, and in
the walked. I guess they think they can walk all over the students or something.
Either way the party ended and he got a couple tickets. Jonzey has a great pad
downtown behind the bank.

Greggs Taxi
In the advent of Gregg needing money, he has decided to start a taxi service. Some
people have taken him up on his service, and it seems to be working out. He is
charging a "fare" rate (lol), and knows right where to go. Greg's little car is very relyable
and gets you there in style. He loves his VW. Go Gregg! Hope things work out for ya!

Day Sleep
MMMMmmmmmmmm sleep. Thanks to working at night I lead an an odd sceduel
now, but I am managing it. I stay up til 7AM these days. It would be more like 5, but
I gotta make sure Bill gets off to school in the mornings. After he leaves, I go to
bed. I tend to sleep til 2PM after that. Then it is time for the kids return from school.
I tend to be a little cranky as I am getting coffee in me, but they understand. It took
a while to train the other members of the house to be quiet for me, but they are
doing well for me now. After all, I have to be quiet for them when I am doin stuff, or
chillin' with people at 3 AM. It's a backwards life, but I have always been more
comfortable living it.

Jamie Gets Everyone Booted from My Computer!
She did it again! Jamie is in a phase where she feels she needs to antagonize me
one way or another. That is fine, cuz it is cute, and she does love me, but she went
over the line when she deleted everyones AIM names in the sign up window. She, of
course, didn't realize quite what she was doing when she did that. When ya delete
those names, you also delete their entire account preferences, buddy info, colors,
and fonts. Many people were upset with that move, and now they are even more
upset, since I stopped allowing ANYONE to get on the computer. The got the Laptop,
and that will have to do. So far no one has fucked that one up yet. I am sorry to be that
way about it, but her event reminded me of a couple important things. It is enevitable
that someone will cause permanent and deadly damage to my computer if I continue
to let others use my rig. So to protect my files (pictures, saved mails, and memories)
I must make the computer sacredly MINE. It wouldn't be so bad, I guess, if the laptop
was a little faster computer, but I am afraid I just can't produce one right now. You
can thank the cops, and one wayward member of the BitchesClub for that one. I
might create a "guest" account on the rig, but I am almost afraid to even do that.
Either way, someday I will rise above it all, and we will have great computers to work
on again. I have only been set back, not destroyed, by our wonderful police force.
