We Gots Candy!
The New Critter
This one just couldn't pass by. This little critter was in the toy bin at the On the Run. He was
$12 well spent. This little puppy really makes my day every day. I know it seems kinda gay to
have a stuffed animal, but if it makes a person happy, then so be it. His name is Thunder
(given by the toy company) and he seems to be a Husky puppy. In fact I found a picture of a
real one on the web. ruff ruff........lol
Super-bowl Night
Any more I dread super-bowl night. It usually means many, many wing orders in the early part of
the night. After half time it was sloooow, however, I did almost 10 cooks of wings in the first
couple hours. That's about 100 each. I cooked and cooked, and I was quite glad I didn't have any
sub orders. Adrian had the night off. He and his boiz ordered about 100 wings themselves. I
called him up when they were all done and told him he owed me! We made it through the night,
and I guess the game went well too. I dunno cuz I missed it all.
Cleaning the Hallway
As part of my rental agreement with my cousin, I have been assigned to clean the hallway
every week. I also take the trash down to the street for pickup on Monday nights. I get $8 a
week shaved off my rent payment for the efforts, I am happy to have a shiny set of stairs to
walk down on my Tuesday nights, They are proud of my work, and I am quite happy to do it.
Every little bit counts when it comes to getting the rent paid.

The Big Fire
I was chillin' the other day and the fire alarm went off, then all the fire trucks went across the
street into the laundromat. I went OMG!, and quickly scooted right over to see what all the
fuss was. The Laundromat was on FIRE! Actually it was just the trash can. Someone had
tossed a ciggy into it and it caught on fire. Luckily a girl was gonna go in to do her laundry
and called the fire dept right on time. Thank God for 911. I would have been lost without the
beloved laundromat. I would have to use a rock down by the stream.
Snowmobile Time
It is that time of the year again. The snowmobiles have been riding by everyday. They get gas
and munchies across the street, and then they tool up to the bar up the street after that. I
usually walk up the trail to the Trippin' Tree, when there isn't any snow on it, but now it is
owned by the snow-mobilers. I used to ride, back in the day. It was a great period of time for
me, getting out into the wild and going and going and going. I used to go all over the state. Go
Snowmobiles!
Al got his tax money the other day, and the first thing he bought was a boatload of
candy. Al has a bit if a candy addiction, and of course, so do I. I was very elated to see
all that he had gotten. We were on a sugar buzz, at work, for about a week!
MMMMMMm CHOOOOOCOLATE!
Larry Bird
Dunden decided that the Loft needed a mascot, so he picked up a tweety-bird at the pet store.
They decided to name it Larry Bird. It is a fine little fellow with yellow feathers. I tried to get it to
say bad words, but I guess it will take some time before he can sing about that bad ol puddy tat,
like Tweety did in the cartoon, lol.

Life Has Returned to Morrisville
The students have returned to Morrisville, and my life is back in order. I am working full time, and
I gots new room mates to go with the new semester. There are many people roaming the streets
again and things are back to "normal" in our wonderful town. I love Morrisville!

The Dining Room Is Complete
The dining room was complete a couple weeks ago, but it turned out very well. People love
eating in there, and the artwork on the wall is just superb. Our in-house artist does a great job on
the walls and windows and really dresses up the place. His name is Kevin and he is from Oneida,
a city to our immediate north. He has been a painter for a long time, and is simply incredible.
Now, if we could just get his spelling up to par, lol. We pipe country music into the dining room,
and we now have fooz-ball. I hope to play some late night fooz-ball if I can ever get one of my
Internet friends to stay over for a night someday. Come eat in our dining room TODAY!

I Got My Checkup!
It turned into a wonderful day as my journey to the Veterans Hospital progressed. Al had to bring
Vanessa to her appointments also, so they left me there to go through my day. First I had
breakfast, then I went to get my blood tested. The lady there is very good at drawing blood. After
that, I went to see the nurse for some vitals, and weighed up 19 pounds heavier then last year
(WOW). I Then saw my primary care doctor. We had a good talk as she shook my hand for doing
so well with my recovery from my drug addictions and trying my best to live a healthier life. She
sent me to ex-ray so I could get a picture of my lungs, then it was off to the Pharmacy to get a big
bag of drugs (meds). I did manage to buy a new hat while I was visiting the hospital at their little
retail store. It is a Marine Corps hat. I have been wanting one for a long time now, and could
finally get one. I then called Al, and he was on his way to get me. By then, the sun was out and it
had turned into a really nice day. We took a detour and did some gambling at the Casino. I
actually doubled my money!!!! All in all, it was a great day. I sure hope all the test results turn out
good, as I figure they will.
