Well, the other
night, I decided it was time for a haircut. Don't worry, I didn't cut it all
off, just
the split ends, and the overgrown side burns. Now I look
good, and all trimmed up. Every so
often, I clean up my act for the
sake of better looks. With long hair like mine, it is easy. I just
put
it into a pony-tail and cut off a couple inches. I am happy to look better for
the return of
the students, and a couple special people too, lol.
One of my Christmas
presents was some maple syrup and blueberry pancake mix from my Mom, so I
figured I would make a nice breakfast the other morning. If there is
anything I am good at, is making
breakfast. After all, I did work at a
diner for about 4 years. I sent a pic of the meal to some people and
made them very hungry, hehe. Come over sometime, and I will make breakfast
for YOU!
Sheldon has been
improving the hill almost everyday now. His latest effort was to modernize
the office. He and Ralph cut the counter in half, and they moved everything
around to make a
nice comfortable situation for the students to check
in with. The pix explain the rest of the story.
Finally, after
almost 2 years, the police saw fit to let my sister have her computer back.
When they confiscated all my gear, they told us that anyone who could prove
they owned
any of it could have it back. I happened to be working on
her rig when they came into my
house, so it went with the rest into the
evidence. I am still not sure why they didn't give me
back all MY gear,
since none of it was stolen, but I guess that was part of the punishment.
Either way, it is good to see her get her shit back. Janet never even got
to use it, she had
just gotten it and brought it to me to set up for
her. I am glad she is getting it back soon, it is
in my public
defenders office. YAY!
Winter has returned
to wonderland! It took a while for the snow to come back, but it sure is
here now. We have had a number of lake effect snow squalls this past week.
The temperature
went down to almost zero also. Tonight the snow was a
blowin' like crazy. It took my cousin Matt
an hour to go home tonight,
and he only lives 12 miles away. It is prolly here to stay until May,
so get used to it!
When I moved to the
new apartment, I had to say goodbye to Carpy's huge television. It was a
good one, so I was spoiled. I was on the phone one day with Russ, I asked
him if he knew of a
cheap TV I could buy, and he said "HAVE I!". He
just happened to have one he was trying to
sell, so he brought it right
over and $20 later, I had a new/old TV. It has some broken knobs,
but
it works well with my remote, and the picture is awesome. Now I have a TV to
watch stuff
on. We got cable here, so I got plenty to watch. YAY!

the New Hallway
and Dining Room
|
Matt, Chris, and Roo
(Josh), have been busy little beavers working on the new dining room for
the pizza shop. This has not been an easy task. They had to break through 4
walls, and build
one also. Plus they needed to install 4 doors. The
most amazing thing to me was to tile the entire
floor in one day. I am
proud of their work, and the new dining room looks great. Kevin came in to
do the artwork on the walls, and I also helped paint the trim one day. All
we need now is some
wax and tables and it will be ready for the public.
We are forever improving our world.
