As I was typing this
news page, down it fell. The ice buildup on the roof finally let loose and
went SMASH! I quickly went outside to see what the damage might be, and
rescue anyone
who might have been underneath it. Fortunately nobody was
hurt, since it is almost 5 AM, but
the building suffered some damage.
The ice took down the gutter, some siding, the roof over
the hood fan,
and screwed up the hood fan but good. I called my cousin (Matt) and the pizza
shop manager (Al), to let them know what had happened, good thing they
were both still up.
After a few days of
feeling rich with tax return money, I finally decided to order two flat screen
LCD monitors for my desk. These computers are a mainstay in my life, so
I figured I should have
good monitors, and more desk space to go with
them. I received them in a few days, and was
happy to hook them up.
Unfortunately, one was either damaged when I got it, or I hooked it up
wrong. Either way, I had to send it back. I was quite sad, yet happy to
have at least one that
worked fine. Now, 2 weeks later, they finally
received it, and will be happily sending me a new one
soon. I am very
happy with my drug free lifestyle, and these monitors are tokens of my recent
success. Go Me!
I have been talking
to Emma for almost 2 years now. She is an awesome girl I met on
Vampirefreaks.com. We always hit it off well, and have been talking of our
various adventures
to one another as time went by. More so recently we
have talked on MSN messenger a lot, and
since the advent of that, I
have finally met her g/f Ash, and we had some nice convos since
then. I
managed to get them both on the web-cam, as they did with me, so we could see
each
other in a better format then regular pictures. They both tried
and tried to get their mics to
work so I could hear the heavy accents
they have. I love the scottish accent, so I really wanted
to hear them.
They couldn't get them to work, but then I was directed to see a you-tube vid
that
they had made, and I finally heard what my hunnys sound like. We
have also become friends
on MySpace. They both have excellent profiles
there. I hope to someday save some money
and fly out to see them. If I
do, I may also see my buddy Darren that I met from there as well.
He is
a school chum of theirs whom I have also talked to for a couple years, til he
got mad at
me for talking to Emma (whom he doesn't seem to like
anymore). Kids these days, gheesh.
The girls are fun to chat with, and
are as excited to be my friend as I am to be theirs. Thank
you girlys
for brightening up my hum-drum Morrisville life. You too Darren!
It is always a
pleasure when the girls come through the kitchen to say hello. These girls are
our special girls from the Corral. We even names a pizza after one of
them because they
brighten up our world when ever they come to see us.
While they were visiting one night,
they had to help make a couple
pizzas. Al was happy to show them how.
During one of my
recent shopping trips to spend my tax money, I picked up a nice hand held
scanner from Radio Shack, and some bubble-gum balls. It picks up Police and
Fire channels.
After wondering where they are going every time the fire
alarm goes off, I thought I would pick
up one of these beauties. I got
all the freqs from the Internet, and as soon as I was done, a call
came
over about a friend of mine (Gregg). I guess he and Stephania got into a little
fight, and
her Mom got a little concerned. They got it all patched up
now, so life is good again. I am
always concerned when I hear of a
friend being talked about on the scanner. At least it wasn't
an
accident or something. The scanner has been the center of attraction for us all
ever since. I
finally got some re-chargable batteries for it, so now I
am set up good.
We had snow at
least. Most of it has melted away in the past few days of warmth we
have had. However, before that, we had many days of below zero weather and
snow
storm after snow storm. I think we had almost 5 feet of snow cover
there for a while. The
whole back of our building was covered in snow,
like one big snow drift. The
snowmobilers have been in heaven lately,
but the snow removal people have been in
hell. I love our wintry
wonderland, but it was nice to get out and walk around in the warm
60F
degree day we had today. The cold didn't stop my usual night time walks, I was
out
in the below zero weather as well keeping track of the town. I
guess we have another
month of winter left, then I will be typing of
the good weather again.
Yes, it was
martygras night at the Corral. I couldn't go in, but the boys did let me peek in
during
the wet tee-shirt competition. Ed was one of the judges for that
and was smiling from ear to ear
as he was surrounded by more titties
then a farmer at milking time. They decorated the place
nicely and sold
out all the tickets to the event. Ed's inflateable pool served well for the wet
tee-shirt competion and all the girls (who were hot) were very happy to
show off what they had to
everyone. I managed to grab a couple balloons
that were in the dining-room the next day to have
in my room. Robert
was quite jealous since he is originally from New Orleans and used to live for
the martygras. But the kids had a good time, and the bar did well that
night. I am looking forward
to next years celebration when I am off
probation. WOOHOOOO!!!!!
I was bored one
night when it was slow at the pizza shop, so I decided to wipe every leaf on our
plastic tree. I was gonna water it one day, but then I saw that it was
plastic, lol. It looks way better
now that I cleaned it up, it prolly
had an inch of dust on all the leaves. It took over an hour to
carefully clean every frickin' leaf.
The Pizza That Had
it All
|
We have had a couple
of orders recently for pizzas with everything on it. I guess people just want
indigestion, lol. This pizza was a wonderful treat for someone, as we
put almost every ingredient
we had on it for them. These kids of pizzas
are a family favorite in my family. When ever we get
together for a
reunion at the Pizza-Pub, or any other pizza place, we always order one. It is
the
only way to fly.
Sometimes the
Morrisville sky can be so beautiful. It may not be the same as Arizona or Cali,
but I
like it, and the sunset always looks good behind our old
buildings. I snapped a couple pix the other
night. The downtown ones
are recent, but the sunset pix from the hill top are from this summer.
Last year, My old
roomy Ed thought he would be wild and cut his hair into a Mohawk. It was
incredible, and everyone loved it. This year he thought he would do it
again. There is only a short
period in life when you can do crazy stuff
like that, and still hold a job, lol, so he figured he would
enjoy his
youth while he could. This is what makes Special Ed, special, although his
nickname this
year is Tender Ed, He doesn't look so tender now, lol. GO
ED!
