The Old Couch
CampusHill traditions are old and strong in our lives. The boys needed a couch for their apartment
on the Hill, so Al gave Cotton and Aaron his old one. As tradition states, everyone must sign the
couch. Throughout the semester, many people signed the old couch. I even gave it a shot one night. I
wrote "Damn that Tommy Two-Tone!" and signed my usual "ddubblu" marking. After the semester
was over, the boys didn't have room enough in their new pad for the old couch, so now it sits in the
back of Cotton's truck waiting for it's fate. Tonight they plan to have a burning ceremony for the old
couch. Pee You, I bet it will stank purdy, lol. Tyler, Felecia, Billington and Special Ed came back to
town just for the occasion. I managed to snap a couple shots of the poor old couch before it leaves
the planet.
Jima and Robert's Night Out
Robert doesn't get out very much, so Jima went up and got him and they came down to
the pizza place to have a dinner for her payday splurge. He gets out for a walk with his
dog sometimes, but it was an occasion for sure. I made their food, much like I may have
when the diner was still alive, and took a nice pic of them while they ate. The very much
enjoyed their time at the Pizza place. We only have one table, but it works well for a
good dinner. I made Pizza with sausage, mushrooms, and green peppers, and some
french fries with cheese on top. It was a bountiful feast. They even had some leftovers
for the doggie to enjoy when they returned to the mansion. Me Jima and Robert are
like family these days. We spent a lot of time together when I lived at the Mansion. We
even made a couple of holidays special with feasts and festivities, not to mention a few
good games of yahtzee with Pat. I will never forget the day most of us managed to run
out to the old tree stump and holler YAHTZEEEEE! to the village when we got one.
Thanx for the good times guys!

Gregg Moves to the Trailer
Gregg needed to get out of the Mansion and live his own life, so he asked Cabbie if he
could stay at the old trailer in Madison. We sure did have some good times there a couple
years ago, so it is like an old home for Gregg. I guess Stephani is gonna stay there with him
too. It will be their little home under the sun. The trailer is closer to his work too. Life at the
Mansion in Morrisville sure is changing. Good Luck Gregg with the new pad!

Construction Begins
They are finally beginning the work on RT 20 through Morrisville. The village spent a
couple years getting the new water an septic lines in so they could do the work. I guess
they run under the sidewalks now. This year the Highway goes IN! I am looking forward
to having a less bumpy ride down main street. So is everyone else in the village, not to
mention this part of the state, lol. Oddly enough, they started with painting the new line
scheme on the pavement, but I guess that is to get us used to how it will be. There is a
new turn lane, and only one lane to drive down on each side of the road. Traffic has
already slowed down, and that makes me very happy. It was always a bitch getting
across the street in this town, not to mention dangerous. It will be a long and noisy
situation for us, but in the end it will be well worth it all. RT 20 lives on!

Snow in Late May!
When we were jammin' last week, we just couldn't believe the changes in the weather
we were having throughout the day. It was sunny, then windy, then rainy, then some
hail, and after that it started snowing furiously! It was frinkin' MAY 21st and shit! The
snow came down for about a half hour, I was surprised it didn't "stick" but it was kinda
warm out still. I managed to snap a pic for you disbelievers out there. After the warm
day we had today (70), it is even hard for me to believe that just last week, it snowed.
WOW!
"Man Down" in the Parking Lot
The fire alarm went off, and the lights were flashing. When I saw the cops pull into our
parking lot, I went right out to see. I thought the other pizza place caught on fire, but I
was wrong. A man driving a motorcycle had pulled into the parking lot, and sat down on
the divider, and called them with his cell (I guess). I am not sure what had happened,
weather he was having an attack, or if he had hit is foot on the divider, but they took
him away in the ambulance a little while after that. I got some pix while I was watching,
but I didn't want to seem like the paparazzi or anything. Our ambulance and fire crew
are top notch that is for sure. The state troopers were there too. I hope he was alright.
the LemonDesk Lives Again
I have had more computer work for my old "Lemon Desk" business then I have had in
over a year. In the past few days, I have fixed about 4 of them. The work is certainly
challenging. Sometimes I have to spend hours combing the Internet for all the drivers,
and utilities involved. Other units fall together with ease, but it still takes me all frickin'
night to get all the work done. Windows updates take the most time. Hackers have
really been doing their work, that is for sure. Most windows systems require about 50
security patches, and even more patches for the patches. When I am done, the
average unit is very secure, and has the latest anit-virus and anti trogen program
definitions. I also bundle the necessary programs for maximum computer enjoyment.
AIM, Yahoo messenger, and Ares are important, as well as a few different video and
media players, depending on how new the unit is. Unfortunately, by the time a user
gets their computer to me, it usually needs reformatting and re-imaging, but sometimes
I get lucky and just have to do a trogen sweep, and a little deleting of the bad programs
to get them back in business again. Backing stuff up can be a challenge, so I always
tell people to make floppies, or to back up their pix into web-mail attachments when
ever they can. I have a CD burner. That makes backing stuff up a breeze. I also have
an 80 gig external hard drive that I back up a lot of stuff onto. Either way, I am happy to
have this new influx of business, especially now that the summer months have brought
me less days at work. The money will sure come in handy, so tell your friends to bring
me their rigs for a quick $20 tune up. I will make it fast again.
the waiting....the waitinnnnnggggg!!!!!
Pee Test Time
Up to Syracuse we went. After my weekend in Jail last week, I had to go to the VA
hospital for a drug evaluation. I also had a nice counceling session while I was there. He
asked me a million questions, and we had a good talk about my pot habit, not to mention
my other old habits I have since quit. I am sure I passed the test with ease. I haven't
smoked or even been around smoke in a long ass time. Al wanted to take his car for a
big ride, so we grabbed Aaron and off to Syracuse we went. I snapped as many pictures
as I could through the course of the day. It was a great day to get out also. The sun was
out, and the air was nice, even in the city. We saw some fighter pilots flying into the
airport, but the pic I took of them didn't come out, damnit. We had a good time that day,
and my appointment didn't take too long, so all in all, it was "mission accomplished".

Apt. 31
My new favorite apartment on the Hill is Apt 31. Matt, our drummer's, sister Amanda and
her boyfriend Mike rented it a few months ago, and now Ducky and Sarah have moved in
with them. It is a great mix of people, and a couple pets besides. I fixed up Amanda's
computer, and got her all set up with it at her pad. They are now enjoying fast Internet
surfing, and computing there. They got it decorated nicely also. I had a good time
hanging out there tonight with them. I showed them the ropes of proper computing while I
was there, and took some "family" pix also. We all have accounts at MySpace.com, so
now they can update them with the new pix I took. I am sure there will be many good
times to be had there.

When I was Young
My Mom made photo albums for each of us kids of our school pix. The pix range from our baby
photos, all the way up to college, or the military for me. She has recently gone to the nursing
home, so us kids got the albums cuz she just couldn't have all of her stuff there. I scanned a few of
the pix so you could get a view on what I looked like when I was a young lad. I remember almost
every one of them too. I bet some of you would have gone out with that cute young teen named
Dwayne. I am not sure how I got so ugly through the years after, but I guess life takes it's toll on all
of us. lol. These pix remind me of "That 70's Show".
