Hot Dog
Soup We were so poor one week that it
actually got down to making a soup out of cans of veggies from the food
pantry. I added some chicken base, then the only meat we had was hot
dogs. So, in they went! The hot dog soup was laughed at more then it was enjoyed, but it did get us through a day with otherwise nothing to eat.
Cousin Aaron and da
Hill The word of the night at work is
usually: "Party on da hill after work!!" So we have been going up to
Cotton's and chillin after work with ice
cream and left over slices quite often. My cousin Aaron is going to
college in Morrisville this year, and working at our little pizza shop
too. He is really cool and we have had many good talks together. On the
Hill we have formed sort of a tight little group of people during the late night
hours. Usually I go home after 3 and sit at the computer til dawn after
that. We all piled in the car and went to OCJ's in Rome to buy a piece.
It was a great road trip type adventure for us. I love to get out of
the bubble and cruise. I am having a good time working with those guys
and chillin' afterwards.
Kitty Caught a
Mouse The other day Steven the cat managed
to catch a big mouse. I am not sure where he got it, but it was in his
possession for a long time that night. All the girls screamed when they
saw him with it. He played and played with his little friend. I am not sure if
he ate it or if it just woke up and ran away from the cat, but it was
gone by the morning. I managed to get some pix of the event that
night.
Jonzes
Apt. When
the parties are full on CampusHill, they all go to Jonzey's Place. He should start a bar and name it that, lol. He loves the popularity and there
is always a good time to be had at the Jonzey pad. It's one of the apts
behind the bank, where they always party. I went one night for a little
while. They were playing beer pong and havin' a good time. me and Jonzey escaped all the madness and came here to party that night. Many of the people who go to his place also eat at our pizza shop. Go Jonzey!
Happy
Thanxgivin' Another Thanksgiving has come and
gone. It was a good one this year. Me and the other members of the
house put together a wonderful feast for the day. It felt almost like
Christmas, because we made it special. The turkey was done just right,
and all the fixin's were a plenty. We ate and ate til we had to sleep,
lol. I enjoyed myself that day. I guess most everyone I know had a good
thanksgiving too. For our house it was a celebration of fellowship
amongst housemates. It brought to mind the importance of how your
living partners really are you family when you are grown up and out on
your own in the world. Next comes Christmas. Now where are those decorations anyway?

Young Bill and
Stealing It was a hard lesson for Bill as
Karen beat him up in front of all of his friends and pulled out a $20
bill he thought he would "borrow" from them. Some of the issues we
wrestle with as youths are not easy, and one of them is STEALING. I think he learned his lesson that night once and for all. He and Ashley had learned
the same lesson at the "on the run" with the police a couple weeks ago,
but for Bill it took a little more to learned his lessons about how
stealing is always the wrong choice. Embarrassment goes far around
here.
