the Fine is Finally Paid Off!
I have been waiting for this moment for many weeks now. I have been paying off, at $50 a week, my
$1000 fine to the town of Madison. They finally sent me my receipts, and the last one said these
words: "PAID IN FULL". Now I can start applying my money towards other things in life that are more
important to me, like catching up the bills. It was hard this summer, when my unemployment was only
$80, and $50 of it had to go out to the fines. Luckily, my cousin was patient enough to let me slide this
summer on the rent till I could get it paid off and get back to work again. Now, I am making mad
money working overtime, and I am getting everything caught up.I learned a hard lesson about drugs,
and I am happy to slowly get it all behind me.

Denny's
Every so often, we have to get out and do a little something nice for ourselves. Denny's was the
answer one morning. Off to Oneida we went. It was a toss up between Denny's and the Chinese
buffet, but Denny's it was. Denny's is an old tradition of mine, dating back to my days in California.
We were happy to have a place that was "always open" to go to, and we always loved breakfast and
coffee. Denny's prolly has the best coffee goin' right now. While we were there, I managed to hook
up with one of my jail buddies who works there as a cook. We had a few words and were both
happy to meet on the outside. It is always good to see one of my friends from jail, cuz it helps me
appreciate my freedom. Denny's was surely a celebration of freedom for us all that day.

Got New Hat
My old Morrisville hat was kinda faded, and I was noticing that fact when I was putting it on one day, so when
I went to the local drug store to get some meds, I saw some new hats they had there and picked one up. It
was the type I liked, and it even said "Morrisville" on it. I look back in style again, and I wear it everywhere.
New Tee Shirts!
WooHooooo!!! With the new year comes new tee-shirts for us to wear at the pizza shop. They look
better then last years and I got more then the ONE that they gave me. They are more gold then
lemon, and got better logos too. The new hats Matt got us are pretty bad, so I hope to be able to wear
my new one that I bought. It is the same color, so I imagine it will be OK. It is another step in a better
direction for us.
Paid Big Rent
In the advent of getting a lot of overtime, I managed to get some serious money to my
cousin for his rent. I was behind, plus he wants most of the semester paid ahead, so I
still have more and more to pay him, but he is very happy with the $600 I gave him the
other day. He is very happy since the other guys paid him even more then that with their
refund money. Money helps make the world go around!
as the Boiz Mop
In an effort to clean up the joint, we got out the old mop and went to town on our sticky kitchen floor. It
is great living with people cuz we all pitch in and get everything done. It seems like I never have to do
the dishes anymore either. The old vacuum gets to take a break too as the boiz bought a nice new
one to use. It's a goodie too. Life is good.

Got New Dough Trays
Al was very happy to get the new trays for our dough, as was I. They fit together nicely
and don't let the air into the dough, so it keeps longer and moister. They are also easier
to clean. However, when we made our first batch, we didn't think of the fact that they
were still warm from not being in the cooler, and they kept the dough at a warmer
temperature for waaaaaay too long before they got cooled off. The dough continued to
rise and made quite a mess. That was a great loss for the company, but after a day or
two of emergency dough making, we got it all replaced and were back in business. We
blamed it all on Murphy (the bad luck gnome). He had disappeared for a few days, and
now we know that he was hangin' out in the cooler, lol.

the Falling Knives
I was trying to carry on my usual fast pace of making subs the other night, and down they
came. 10 knives came off the shelf and into my ingredients. I went to reach for the parmesan
cheese, and I must have hooked one of the knives at the same time, and before I knew it, I
was almost a victim of a stabbing, lol. I am considering a new place to put the knives. They
were all sharp as shit too.

My Laundry is Stuck!
As I sit here and type, my laundry sits in the machine, stuck there til the morning, and waiting
for a maintenance person to let it out. I guess the timer is not working cuz, it is still on and
the door is still locked up tight. It isn't running, but it is quietly waiting for me to get it out. I will
prolly have to do it again in the morning cuz the mildew will overtake it. Hopefully I will get a
free wash out of it.
