Crazy Nights at the Pizza Shop
It has been great to get back to work again. I love makin' food for people, especially the college
students. They are sooooo appreciative of our work. In fact, since the advent of college starting again,
we have been serving people non-stop from open to close every night. Matt is happy cuz he has been
making boo-koo money from our efforts. Thanx to all of this, we have gotten raises, and I have been
pulling mad overtime. I didn't have a day off for about 3 weeks, since I started working right after
working at the apartments with no break in between. I finally managed to get a day off and could get
some relaxation in to recuperate the other day. Tonight I got a 1/2 night off so I could get my web-work
done. The kids have been raving about my subs. They actually ask for them to be made by me too. I try
to make the food good for them when I can. I also noticed that one of the reasons why we are so
popular is that we take the time to "party" with the kids. Not with drugs or anything, but with fellowship
and in treating them like "family". We usually fill up just before closing, so they can get that last minute
munchies fit in as they leave the Campus Hill parties. Then the little shop is a party in itself, and us
tired workers struggle our best to make them happy. I have gotten good at all my duties there. We are
all seasoned now and are performing well for Matt and our customers. The delivery dudes have been
running around like mad nutz getting the food out to the people and have been raking in the tips also.
Swing in, or give us a call sometime. Food is good!    -

Fixed Pan Am and Will's Internet
They tried and tried, but they just couldn't get it to work. Pan Am and Will had gotten road runner, and were
extremely teased for a few days when it wouldn't work. I couldn't get up there to help them til late one
night, and we began trouble shooting. I checked the wireing and noticed that they had the splitter hooked
up backwards. That is easy enough to do, cuz the in and out print is so small, so we hooked it up right
and began to reboot the equiptment. All of a sudden the lights started blinking and we were looking at
CampusHill.net. WoooHooooo!!!!!! They were really happy with everything and can now enjoy surfing the
internet. Will and Pan Am (Robert), have a nice crib on the Hill. They are having a party this weekend and
are planning to enjoy the school year (their 4th year) in style. They have been comming to the Pizza shop
all summer, and Will worked with me on the Hill getting the apartments ready. They are a good couple of
guys. Don't worry girls, they aren't gay! lol.

Got New Shoes
When I was up to "Group" last week, with some money in the account, I took advantage and went to the retail
store at the hospital. I love the VA hospital, they have everything, lol. I knew I needed some new sneaks, and I
also knew that they had some there for a good price. After looking around a bit, I settled for the $17.99 velcro
specials. They fit well, and function well for my work. I got some insoles for them and they are very
comfortable. I wore my white pimpin' shoes for a year now. They are still comfortable, but they squeak when I
walk in them cuz the soles are wearing out a little. I will still wear them sometimes, but the new black ones
will be the mainstay. Shoes are a great thing, and good ones make a difference on your whole body's well
being. Especially at a job like mine where I run around all night in our little kitchen. Treat yourself good, get
some new shoes today!

Laundry Day
It was a great day when they let me have a night off from the busy schedule of the Pizza shop. It was
on the weekend, so the boiz had the day off too, and we took full advantage of the fact and trucked off
to the laundromat to get our piles of laundry cleaned up. It prolly looked like we were embarking on a
military mission as we crossed Rt. 20 with our duds. I usually fill up a sea-bag with all my clothes.
We had a good time there as I told them which machines are the good ones and which ones suck. I
have been going to this laundromat for a long time now, so I know all the equipment there. I found a
pair of girls undies there and gave them to Dunden, who quickly threw them at BLT. Me and BLT
jammed some guitar while we waited for the clothes to clean, and we bought ice cream during one
of the trips too. Eventually the laundry was done, and we managed to get our clothes caught up for
another couple of weeks.

New Painting at the Pizza Shop
We have a lot of hand painted stuff on the walls and windows of the Club and the Pizza
shop. They were painted by a friend of the family from Onieda. Kevin has been painting
stuff like that for years and is really good at his work. I can't show you the work he has
done in the club until we open, but you can see what he has done in our window, and
inside the shop.

Pimp Juice
As Robert was roaming around town today, he found this can of "Pimpjuice" and immediately thought
we needed to take a pic of it. I guess it is an energy drink, but the name sure is fitting of the "Rick
James" aura of the times. If anything, it is kinda funny. Were pimpin' baby!

the Flat Tire
As me and Al were roaming around Syracuse the other day for my "Group" meeting, we
hit a big bump that seemed a little bit too big. I guess the slow leak in his tire had gotten
bigger, or we just popped the tire for good. We noticed the tire was flat when we pulled
into Denny's. After breakfast, we quickly walked across the street and got some
"Fix-a-flat" to pump into the tire. We were then able to ride home. He plans to get some
snow tires soon anyway, but for now, it is all good!

Go Go Gophers
Go Go Gophers - A tribe of native American gopher Indians featured on the animated
cartoon GO GO GOPHERS that aired as part of UNDERDOG/NBC/1964-66. The main
characters in the series were Ruffled Feather and Running Board, two buck-toothed gopher
Indians living in Gopher Gulch in the 1860s. They were in constant conflict with Sergeant
Okey Homa, and blustery Colonel Kit Coyote, the local cavalry fort commander who wanted
to eradicate the gophers population from the western frontier. Meanwhile, the gophers
sabotaged the fort, the railroad and the telegraphs lines into the Colonel's headquarters.
