The Students Have Returned

Back from home they came. The students have returned. CampusHill is buzzin' with activity everywhere. It's funny to see them all crashed when I go down to work in the morning. Every night there has been a party and fun in the air. My Room mate knows alot of people and we have managed to have a few partys of our own. It is good to meet all the new people and see the old faces from last year. It has been like a homecoming here. I have high hopes for them all in the school year to come.

Slept Through a Party

I was up all night, went to work, came home chilled til bed time, then just when I was ready for bed, they all showed up. My room mate brought 19 stragglers and 5 cases of old mil home. It became a grand affair. However, I told them all good night and quickly drifted off to sleep, listening to a girl just outside my door talking away. When I awoke, it was a clean house and shreds of evidence of what must have been a good time. The worst part is that I missed out on meeting some of the new girls this year. Damn!

Kim Moves to the Dorms

Kim has stepped up in life and has got herself her own place in the dorms. She is sooooo happy now. She's got her new lappy, and her own solitude, a cool room mate, and a start to a great life.  She is studying journalism, and plans to write the best novel ever about a little diner in a little town........hehe. We IM all the time now. It is neat to be able to communicate with her as she moves along through college. Kim is so cool. She and Andrew are goin out and he thinks it's way cool how well she is doin'. Kim is keeping up a busy college scedule and a busy work secedule to at the diner. She is awesome.

Got Cool Neighbors This Year

This years neighbors are waaaaaay cool. Last year we were blessed with the football team, and it was a world of trouble. Fights and armed violence were a common affair. Now it's all the young hippy types. All they care about is cool music and good times. I have managed to meet most of them at some of our housewarming partys. It's a cool bunch of guys and girls who aim at having some fun this year. I like that.

I Am Getting Cranky Lately

My work scedule has been heavy, and so has my prtying scedule. So the late hours have been kinda driving me nutz. My after work hours, usually from 2 - 4 are precious to me. After cleaning myself up, the time is usually spent asleep in my chair. When Billy let Dale in during my shower the other day i about went balistic on them both. I am real sorry about the crankyness, but it seems that noone understand my need for that time to be mine. It seems that I have been having problems with this kinda thing from people too much lately. My professional life is very important to me, and lack of sleep is really affecting my work day. If I loose my job, that ends the whole show. So If I am serious every once in a while, just bare with it, and help me by not coming over too late, and paying attention to whether of not it is a work day for me or now. Sunday Monday Tuesday are my Morning work days. I mean Morning too. I open the diner at 5 30 AM. That means I get up just after 3. Thats way early. Thursday is Video day. Most people are trained well for that day. The scedule isn't so bad either. I go down to work there at 4 PM. Thats much easyer for me to maintain. lol. Thanx to all who understand my age old dilema.

Put Up Advertisments All Over

The other morning I got a good idea to drum up business for my computer shop. Computer lounge is more the right word for it here. I got 4 computers online in my network, and Brian has 3 or 4 himself in his room. We are clearly the Internet kings around here. I printed these ads and put them all around campushill, one in every quad. I can help alot of people who need it with their computers, and getting hooked up to the internet. Here alot of people need to create a little home network so they can share the internet with their room mates. I can help people with that, and all kinds of things. So far my customer list is big. I have had many people bring me computers that wouldn't even turn on, and I created nice systems out of them. Go LemonDesk.
